Personalised Greetings

Joining Moonpig in 2000 as the second employee, the start up years were an incredibly exciting time to be part of a small team; pioneering, experimenting and building out a new greeting card retailer. Creating the first personalised Spoof magazine & tabloid designs, working with top UK card publishers, licensing Disney & Nickelodeon and managing our in in-house design team that produced the game-changing Photo upload cards.

 
 

Trialling DRTV in UK

Our first attempt at TV was a resounding success. The combination of a memorable name, new personalised online products, tongue in cheek ads, quick & easy to use, same-day despatch and the first airing of the all important Moonpig jingle, began a highly successful TV media relationship and discovered a scaleable new customer acquisition channel.
